Georgia fans suffer from a peculiar form of neurosis. Despite all evidence to the contrary, they continually regard themselves as a top-tier program capable of contending for national championships. Pollsters do not usually share this opinion, but on the rare occaisions that they do, Georgia's on-field performance reminds them why this is foolish.Exhibit A: Georgia entered the 2008 season as the #1 team in the nation.
